An evening with Bill Nye
2015 Australia Tour
The highly evolved Bill Nye – popularly known as ‘The Science Guy’ – will be visiting Australia in February 2015 for his first Australian tour.
An evening with Bill Nye will be in pursuit of a mission – to foster a scientifically literate society, making science entertaining and accessible.Bill Nye tackles numerous issues of scientific debate, though is perhaps most notable for locking horns with creationists and global warming deniers. In many of his disputes with political leaders and climate realists, Nye proclaims the paramount importance of battling the causes of climate change now, before the effects are too catastrophic – “We need you to change things, not deny what’s happening”, says Nye.

On the 31st of January, long-time social justice, child protection / anti-paedophilia activist, and Forgotten Australian, Lewis Blayse (born Lewin Blazevich, in Tully), passed away, aged 64, at his home in Benarkin, Queensland. It was just after he had conducted an interview with the ABC’s 7:30 Report about the current Australian Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse
