Progressive Atheists Inc. Annual General Meeting
As well as a the general business of an annual general meeting, Term 2015 President of Progressive Atheists, Alice Carr, gave an overview of Progressive Atheists Inc. activities during the period July 2014 – June 2015. This was done via a PowerPoint presentation and involved a synopsis of 16 categories ranging from the work in promoting Secular Schools, whereby a letter was sent to the Ministries on Secular Schools and in June 2015 a discussion on Secular schools was held; to Religious Persecution – Apostasy and Blasphemy, and their negative effects, with a letter being sent September 2014 regards Islamic Extremism; the atrocities of the religious fundamentalists in Bangladesh in April 2015; Quillam’s belief in November 2014, that Islam needs reform; Persecution of Atheists globally, reported February 2015; Justice for survivors of abuse at the hands of religious and other institutions; domestic violence against women; Public Relations activities, Community Events and events hosted by Progressive Atheists. Secretary Brian Jones followed with a membership and financial report for Term 2015.

Thanks and appreciation were expressed for the Term 2015 Committee (7 of 10 present).
One of the four founding members of Progressive Atheists Inc. and current Atheist International Board member Elida Radig then gave an address to those attending expressing her appreciation at the work that has been done to grow Progressive Atheists since its inception in January 2010.

Members and guests are most welcome to attend the Progressive Atheists Inc. AGM and dinner on Tuesday, 29th September 2015. Join us for dinner from 6.00 pm.

- 7.30 pm Progressive Atheists Inc. AGM
The Progressive Atheists Inc. AGM will commence at 7.30 pm and paid up members will elect a new Committee for Term 2016.
We are expecting an attendance of around 30 members and guests and we would appreciate an early reply so as to allow us to allocate numbers and seating.
